E3 is one of the best known, annual events celebrating the video game industry. Companies worldwide gather in Los Angeles for 3 days to meet, make deals, and showcase their wares to each other, media, retailers, and, more recently, fans.
In the days leading up to the event, it’s become a tradition for several companies to hold their own, special conferences where they make huge announcements of what they have coming out in the current year. In fact, it’s become a competition of sorts, amongst the participating companies, to see who has the most exciting presentation and reveals.
Even though E3 isn’t until June, the hype is already starting, with Bethesda leading the way. On Friday the company was the 1st to announce when their special showcasing/pre-E3 conference will be.
Although there was no mention about the event being open to the general public, we assume it will be based on previous years. Usually, potential attendees can sign-up on-line to get a shot at an invitation, somewhere around 6-8 weeks prior to E3. (We’ll keep you informed as we hear more).
Of course, if you have no desire to travel to CA you’ll be able to easily experience the event from home, via Twitch, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, or Bethesda’s website.
While counting down the days until E3, Bethesda is inviting fans to share their special in-game characters, cosplay, game collections, or anything that celebrates a love for the company and its games on Twitter. Those who participate are being asked to use the hashtag, #BE3.
