Indie developer, Aloft Studio, is celebrating the Kickstarter campaign for their Zelda-esque, ARPG, Hazelnut Bastille, by challenging talented artists to render a work inspired by their game. Those who do will be in the running for 1 of 3 prizes, each of which will include rewards from a particular Kickstarter campaign tier.
Submissions can include any type of visual image medium, digital or traditional, including (but not limited to), pixel art, pen & ink, graphite, or vector comics.
Scoring will be done by the developers, based on technique, creativity, humor and storytelling.
Inspiration can be pulled from anything within the Hazelnut Bastille universe, including a scene with the heroine, your interpretation of a pixel art enemy, a depiction of a moment in the game trailer, what a dungeon boss does in her free time, or anything else you can imagine.
1st place prize – 1000 USD Kicktarter Tier
2nd place prize – 100 USD Kickstarter Tier
3rd place prize – 60 USD Kickstarter Tier
