To sweeten this year’s Halloween event, Niantic has announced that the Dark/Mythical type, Darkrai, will once again descend upon Tier 5 raids, allowing Trainers yet another chance to add this incredible monster to their Pokédex and/or shiny collection.
For those of you planning to take him on, here’s what you’ll need to know.

Dark/Mythical type
Part of Lunar Duo (w/Cresselia)
Resistant to Dark, Ghost, & Psychic attackers
Not tradeable (due to Mythical status)
Best Moveset: Snarl/Dark Pulse or Shadow Ball
Hardest Move to Beat: Shadow Ball
Weak To: Fighting, Bug, & Fairy

Mega Beedrill: Bug Bite/X-Scissor
Mega Charizard: Fire Spin/Blast Burn
Lucario: Counter/Aura Sphere
Conkeldurr: Counter/Dynamic Punch
Machamp: Counter/Dynamic Punch

Darkrai is boosted in Foggy weather.
Shiny:
Darkrai will be available from 9pm EST, October 23rd until 4pm EST on November 5th.
