Although you can still enjoy hatching, catching, and raiding during the June 3rd-8th time period, you will need to have completed the 4 previous weeks of research tasks in order to access the Champion 2020 Special Research/rewards. The good news is that, unlike the 4 weeks of timed tasks, the Special Research can be unlocked and completed at any time.
