If you’re a longtime fan of zooming around dangerous courses at lightening fast speeds, trying to avoid being blinded by ink while attempting to make it the finish line before all your friends, then you may be intrigued about the latest news from Nintendo.
The company announced Wednesday that a new addition to the beloved racing series is in the works. However, this time our favorite Nintendo characters will be battling it out on our phones.
The new game will be called “Mario Kart Tour” and, according to a Nintendo of America tweet, releasing “in the fiscal year ending in March 2019.”
No other details are available as of yet, as the game is obviously in the early stages of development. But, with Nintendo’s track record of successful mobile releases, I’m already counting down the days until I can download it to my phone.
