It’s official Detective Pikachu fans! The movie we all love starring that adorable, fuzzy yellow spitfire of a detective has officially become the highest grossing video game film ever, totaling $436 million in worldwide ticket sales. Even better news is that we’ll soon be able to bring the fun home and watch it again when it releases on DVD & Blu Ray on August 6th!
Pre-orders are available now at Best Buy, Target, and Amazon. There are several editions from which to choose (depending on the retailer) including 4K Ultra HD, Blu Ray 3D, Blu Ray w/ a DVD copy & digital code, Blu Ray Standard and a special edition DVD.
There’s also a SteelBook edition for $34.99 available as a Best Buy exclusive.
Don’t want to wait until August 6th to see it again? The movie will also be available digitally starting July 23rd through Google Play, the Microsoft Store, Apple TV, VUDU, Fandangonow, and moviesanywhere.com.
