Anyone who’s had a difficult time acquiring an EX Raid invite to participate in Deoxys raids can breathe a sigh of relief with the latest news from Niantic that all 4 forms of this mythical monster will be made available in Tier 5 gyms starting September 9th.
For those of you planning to take part in this special 7-day event, here’s what you’ll need to know.

Deoxys is boosted in Windy Weather.
The most useful of the 4 Deoxys is the Defense forme which boasts the 2nd highest defense stat in the game and is a terrific ally in PvP.

If you’re missing one or more of the Deoxys forms from your Pokédex, I encourage you to take advantage of this limited time event. Since Deoxys is a mythical creature, he’s not tradable. The only way to acquire him is through defeating him in a raid and successfully capturing him afterward.
