If you’re a fan of Pokémon, then you’re going to love this “Draw Em All” poster from artist Christopher Cayco. This detailed rendering took approximately 520 hours to complete and includes over 1100 monsters.
Per his DeviantArt page, Mr. Cayco explains the whole project began back in 2015 with a 21 day/132 hour stint. Then, the next year, he decided he wanted to add in the characters from Pokémon Sun and Moon. However, his artistic ability had increased so much since his original drawing, just inserting new monsters wouldn’t have worked because the difference in his line work from the first posting to the 2nd, would’ve been night and day.
Rather than give up on the project, he started it from scratch. He upped the resolution, included more detail, and after 42 days/350 hours he was done. At least, until a month ago where he added in monsters from Ultra Sun and Moon, bringing it to the final product that you see today.
