It’s been a little over a year since the release of the newest God of War title and those who worked tremendously hard behind the scenes are now ready to show just what it took to bring this extraordinary game to life, in a documentary called God of War: Raising Kratos.
Now, fans of the game can see the 5 year journey of blood, sweat, tears, heartache, sacrifice, and struggles, that director, Cory Barlog, and the team at Santa Monica Studio went through to reinvent this highly esteemed series, which won the top prize at last year’s Game Awards.
The documentary will be viewable on the PlayStation YouTube channel starting at 12:01am PST/ 3:01am EST on Friday, May 10th. You can see a teaser trailer for it here. (Warning: Mature Content)
As of January 2019, God of War has sold over 91.6 million copies worldwide. The PlayStation 4 exclusive title is available physically at most retail outlets and digitally on the PlayStation Store.
