Capcom announced this morning that all 8 Mega Man X games are coming to consoles and PC on July 24th, split into 2 collections.
Collection #1 will include Mega Man X, X2, X3, and X4. The 2nd collection will contain games X5 through X8.
Each collection will be sold separately in digital format for $19.99. A physical bundle with both collections, retailing for $39.99, will be available (in North America) for the PS4, XB1, and Switch. The PS4 & XB1 versions will include a physical disc for each collection. The Switch version will have a cartridge for collection 1 and a digital download voucher for collection 2.
Some of the highlights of the collections will be:
– Improved visuals
– Original resolution, full screen, and wide screen modes
– Museum Mode- contains original game trailers, art, etc.
– Full soundtracks for each game in each collection
– New & remixed songs
– X Challenge Mode – take on 2 classic bad guys at the same time
– Compare your best time to others with on-line Leaderboards

A Switch version of the Mega Man Legacy Collection 1+2 will be releasing May 22nd.
A brand-new game, Mega Man 11, will be releasing on all consoles later this year.
