Soon, Steam users will be able to access their full library of games and videos on their Android and iOS devices, thanks to 2 new apps being developed by Valve.
The Steam Link app will release during the week of May 21st. It will be the conduit for games and require a 5Ghz network or wired Ethernet connection. It will “feature support for the Steam Controller, MFI controllers, and more across both (iOS and Android) platforms.”
The Steam Video app will be out this Summer and will allow users to watch movies and TV shows available through Steam, on their devices over Wi-Fi or LTE. “It will offer the ability to enjoy content in offline or streaming modes.”
Both apps will be available for free.
