The Gears of War franchise will be entering the world of mobile gaming with a new title called Gears POP! As the name suggests, this will not be the usual hardcore, serious action game that fans of the series are used to, but instead, a humorous, Funko POP take on the GOW environment.
You can see the adorably fun teaser trailer on the Xbox YouTube channel. The game is expected to release sometime in 2019.
Two other titles have been announced for the series as well. The next big franchise entry, Gears of War 5, is scheduled to come out next year. A PC only, turn-based strategy game, Gears Tactics, is also in the works.
