Last month, Sega announced the thrilling news that a physical remake of the digitally released Sonic Mania, called Sonic Mania Plus, would be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and XB1 sometime this Summer. At the time, most on-line retailers had it dated for August 28th. Today, a new trailer revealed that the game will be coming out even sooner than originally expected.
The newly confirmed date is July 17th. For those who already own a copy of the original game, an Encore DLC packet containing the new features, will become available that day as well, at a cost of $4.99.
