After having another chance to add the Regi Trio to their Pokédex, Pokémon GO Trainers will soon have the opportunity to add the trio’s master; Regigigas, via EX Raids.
For those of you who didn’t add him to your collection through the special research event on November 2nd (or would like to own more than one of this newest Legendary), here’s what you’ll need to know for a successful defeat.
Best Moveset: Zen Headbutt/Avalanche
Hardest Move to Beat: Avalanche
Perfect IV’s:
100% IV: 2478CP
100% WB IV: 3098CP
Regigigas is boosted in Partly Cloudy weather.

Counter/Dynamic Punch
Counter/Close Combat
Hariyama: Counter/Dynamic Punch
Toxicroak: Counter/Dynamic Punch
Blaziken: Counter/Focus Blast
Heracross Counter/Close Combat

# of Trainers Needed for a Defeat:
Regigigas can be beaten by 3 Trainers if you have the above Pokémon powered up to Level 35 (8,000 Stardust) or 4-5 Trainers if your attackers are powered up to Level 30 (5,000 Stardust).
Regigigas will become the newest EX Raid boss in November. (No word just yet on how long he’ll be available).
Those of you who live in (or are raiding in) Wilkes County, can qualify for an invite to take on Regigigas by participating in any level raid at our new EX Raid gym at Smoot Park. (You’ll want to do this sometime after the latest EX Raid has taken place at that gym and before the next round of invites have been sent out).
Remember, when you do receive an invite to share it with a fellow Trainer who wasn’t able to get one. But, do make sure they can participate because once sent, the invite is no longer available whether they accept or deny it.
