NIKITA ONLINE, creator of hidden object experiences for mobile, PC, and social networks is about to release their newest game, True Reporter. The mystery will follow an investigative reporter, Betty Hope, who “seeks to find” what’s happened to her suddenly gone missing restaurateur fiancé.
Although the game will contain classic hidden object mechanics, it will also be filled with new, yet to be revealed, modes which will put a twist on the beloved gameplay. Along with finding items, collecting, solving riddles & puzzles, as well as mini-games, will be a “mature detective drama” which will progress forward as players complete each objective. For those who love the spirit of competition, there’ll also be an option to pit your investigative acumen against that of your friends.
The setting for True Reporter will be the city of Mistwood, which is described as a vast, crime filled, urban area where secrets are kept and the unexplained occurs. Assassination attempts, murders, kidnappings, corruption, seemingly ordinary citizens committing heinous crimes are part of everyday life in the town that isn’t what it seems.
Whenever the people around Betty suspect that her fiancé, Charlie just got cold feet, it’s up to her and a seemingly trustworthy deputy sheriff, Nick, to find out the truth. However, as they search for who’s behind Charlie’s disappearance and a series of connected crimes, the twosome may find more than they bargained for.
True Reporter is expected to be out late Summer or early Fall. Be on the lookout for it in the near future on the Google Play & Apple stores and Facebook sometime afterwards.
