Developer Nevermind will be running a Kickstarter campaign next month for their 2D side-scrolling action adventurer, Little Legend.
The game which originally began as a SHMUP with RPG qualities, promises players a beautiful, explorable open world with a strong story and a “magicraft system.”
Set off on your adventure as a resilient young girl named Pimpim who possesses supernatural powers. Make progress by crafting your own spells which will help you on your travels and allow you to defend yourself.
Each player will be given the ability to decide which direction he/she wants to take and maneuver through the world according to their favored gaming style.
Do be careful with the decisions you make though, because whatever you do as a teenage Pimpim will have consequences when she becomes an adult.
Additional features include:
A Dreamlike Open World with 4K graphics
Housing and Shop systems
The ability to Fly & Talk to creatures as a Magic Weasel
Fast-paced fighting action
Nevermind co-founders Fawzi Allouache and Maxime Poutiline plan to use funds obtained through their Kickstarter campaign to expand their team and greatly accelerate production of their game.
Little Legend is planned for a PC and Nintendo Switch release, with the possibility of a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launch if Kickstarter stretch goals are achieved.
The Kickstarter campaign for Little Legend begins January 9th.
