If you’ve been looking forward to getting your hands on the cute & quirky Playdate console from Panic, Inc, then you’ll be happy to know that pre-orders for the retro inspired system are now available.

What is Playdate?
Playdate is a colorful, pocket sized console created by Panic, Inc (& designed by Teenage Engineering) which has a unique crank function and plays a wide variety of indie titles developed specifically for the handheld system.

– Built-in mono speaker

Games:
Anyone who pre-orders the system will receive 24 original games (of varying genres) which will be delivered, 2 at a time, (at no additional charge) on a weekly basis, for 12 weeks.

Pre-orders:
Although a very limited 1st batch of consoles (slated for 2021) sold out on July 29th, don’t despair. The company does promise that anyone who wants a console will be able to get one. Pre-orders placed from here forward will simply ship out next year instead of this one.
