Nintendo announced yesterday that Mario will be hitting the big screen, with some help from the makers of Despicable Me. And, the company mascot will be in great hands as his creator, Shigeru Miyamoto and Illumination Founder/CEO, Chris Meledandri will be co-producing.
The film will be an animated feature, based on the world of “Super Mario Bros.” Nintendo is in agreement with Universal Pictures to co-finance and distribute the picture worldwide.
