The Natsume announcement we’ve all been waiting for, finally came today! The company revealed a new Harvest Moon title is coming out this May for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch! And, it’ll be available digitally and physically.
Besides a North American release, the game will be coming out in Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. Rising Star Games, an experienced publisher that’s released previous Harvest Moon titles, will be in charge of these territories.
The Harvest Moon: Light of Hope game has only been released on Steam so far. In the game, players are responsible for rebuilding a small, deserted town in shambles, which they stumble upon after being shipwrecked in a huge storm.
Natsume promised via Twitter that even more great stuff will be included in the “special edition” for console than in the current PC version.
Per Nintendo Everything, Natsume’s CEO, Hiro Maekawa, gave a little more detail in a press release after the initial announcement, saying the upcoming edition will include “brand new features only available on the console versions” and there will be “special bonuses to go along with the game.” It was also revealed that the game will retail for $39.99.
That’s all we know so far. But, keep in touch, because Natsume has promised more details coming soon!
