After delays due to Covid-19, Capcom is now getting back on track with their planned updates to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, starting with the addition of an Elder Dragon coming this month.
On top of this, the company has also specified an upcoming Summer event as well as a new variant monster that should prove to be an “ice cold” opponent.
Alatreon Returns to Monster Hunter!
First seen in Monster Hunter 3, this fan favorite will be travelling to Iceborne, offering players “one of the most intense & dynamic hunts” in the game. Get ready to take on the legendary Elder Dragon, Alatreon, starting July 8th.

Sizzling Spice Fest
Put on your best feathered outfit, eat some hefty meat dishes, and craft some new gear when the Sizzling Spice Fest takes place July 21st through August 6th. Be sure to check out this hot new event in the Seliana Gathering Hub. And, don’t miss out on the many items (armor sets, palico gear, weapon pendants) to be had.
Limited Time Event Quest
Enjoy taking down the variant monster; Frostfang Barioth, when the “Last White Knight” event quest is available from August 6th through August 19th.
