Although the mobile portion of the video game business is booming, those who develop and publish titles for “on the go” play sometimes feel a little like Rodney Dangerfield.
In order to try and give those deserving folks a little more attention, Pocket Gamer, in tandem with the Enthusiast Gaming Network, is sponsoring a 3-day event showcasing titles specifically created for iOS & Android devices.
For anyone who wants to be a part of this special occasion, here’s the how, where, and when to watch as well as what to expect.
Dates:
July 23rd-July 25th
Daily Livestream Event:
Tune in for a 2-hour presentation each day from 12pm-2pm EST (5pm-7pm BST).
How to Watch:
Viewers can watch via the Pocket Gamer Twitch Channel.
Outside of the organized, daily livestream, Pocket Gamer will also be posting additional news, updates, stories, interviews, and videos throughout each of the three days. News will begin happening at 4am EST/9am BST, on the PG website.
Starting at 5am EST/10am BST, there will be scheduled activities taking place on the Pocket Gamer Discord and YouTube channels. (The Discord channel will be a great place to chat at anytime with fellow gamers, featured developers, and the Pocket Gamer team).
There’s also mention of special offers and competitions happening throughout the 3 days.
If you happen to miss out on watching the daily events live, you can catch-up with what’s been shown, via the PG YouTube channel where snippets and full recordings of each showcasing will be made available.
Keep up with the latest news about the event as well as new titles for mobile gaming, via the Pocket Gamer website, Facebook page, and Twitter account. You can also sign-up to have the latest announcements delivered to your inbox via the PG newsletter.
