In case you missed it, Capcom announced Friday that a free demo of their upcoming Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate game for the Nintendo Switch has been released on the eShop.
In the demo, players can tryout 6 different hunting styles and a new “prowler” ability as well as take down 3 big monsters; Great Maccao, Barioth, and Valstrax.
This is a great way to gear up for the full game which will be out on 8/28, that promises the largest roster of foes in any Monster Hunter game yet and hundreds of quests that can be completed alone or with friends.
You can read all about the game and get a glimpse at several of the beasts you’ll go up against in our announcement article from May. If you’re a Zelda fan, be sure to check out the upcoming DLC tie-in with The Legend of Zelda: BOTW that was disclosed last month.
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate will release exclusively on the Switch at a retail of $59.99. Pre-orders can be found at Amazon, Play Asia, GameStop, Best Buy, and Target.
